Systems Analyst - IT Operations

**Ideal candidates will have experience with Backup products (Veeam, Avamar, TSM, Spectrum Protect)
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Provide technical support for IS data backup and recovery team
Provide technical support for Enterprise Backup software
Install and configure backup application(s) and adjust parameters as needed for various Operating systems requiring data backups
Monitoring of systems, applications and processes related to enterprise backup operations.
Use of available tools to provide appropriate monitoring all backup and data media processes
Teaming to find solution to complex problems
Work with other technical staff to find solution for complex technical challenges
Work ticket assignments
Maintain an appropriate and reasonable closure metric for work tickets.
Other duties as assigned
Willingness to accept and work other tasks as assigned.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree.

None
Experience:
Two years of experience in analysis/design/project management/programming. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis or completed years of college
Preferred Experience
IBM TSM/Spectrum Protect , IBM Protectier, or IBM TS3500/TS4500 tape system experience
