Patient Care Technician- Gyecology/ Radiation Unit (Evening / Nights)

Gynecologic Radiation is a 25 bed unit which cares for patients of all ages. This unit has gynecology, thoracic, head and neck, ophthalmology and pediatric patients receiving their radiation treatment. This unit also cares for Gynecological surgical and medical oncology patients.
Ideal candidate will have three years of work experience; direct patient care experience strongly preferred. Must be able to work a combined shift: 7pm-7am, 3pm-11pm and/or 11pm-7am including 26 out of 52 weekends per year.
Salary Range: Min- $28,800 Mid- $36,000 Max- $43,200Essential Job Functions:
Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: College hours in nursing or healthcare related field.
Experience
Required: Three years of work experience. May substitute additional education
for required experience on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Nursing assistant or other related experience in a clinical setting
Licensure/Certification
Required: None.
Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant

Required: Must
pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human
