VP, Performance Improvement
The Vice President reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer. The Position is responsible for all Inpatient Operations through direct oversight through strategic and operational leadership for the inpatient clinical services across the continuum of care. Evaluate and lead strategic initiatives regarding future growth and expansion. The Vice President collaborates extensively with key stakeholders in the delivery of clinical service and serves as a dyad with the VP.
Demonstrates organizational responsibility through institutional-minded decision-making and through support and accountability for self and team ongoing personal development. As an MD Anderson leader, ongoing personal development includes, but is not limited to, learning, practicing and continued application of leadership skills through coaching, mentoring and/or facilitation in order to model within and give back to the MD Anderson community.
Education
Master’s degree in Healthcare, Business or related field.
Experience
Ten years of experience in hospital operations as a proven healthcare leader, with at least five years in a progressively responsible leadership roles leading multidisciplinary teams, preferably in an academic healthcare system. Strong healthcare finance acumen.
