Vice President, Pharmacy
The Vice President, Pharmacy strategically plans, organizes and directs the pharmacy practice at all MD Anderson campuses including the Houston Area Locations.
Additionally,
- Provides leadership for all pharmacy programs and activities including patient care services (inpatient and outpatient drug distribution, drug information, and clinical consultative services), research, academic training and business affairs of the Division of Pharmacy.
- Provides leadership and establishes productive relationships with administration, physicians, chief nursing officer, division and department heads to optimize all aspects of medication management and formulary management across the MD Anderson system.
Requirements
- 10 years of leadership experience as a Pharmacy Director, Associate Director or Assistant Director in a large community or university teaching hospital or healthcare system.
- Hospital-based pharmacy experience.
- Pharm.D.
- Registered Pharmacist with eligibility for Licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Texas.
