The primary purpose of the Facilities Customer Advocate position is to perform duties as administrator of the Facility Asset Request (FAR) application. This includes coordinating regularly scheduled space committee and related FAR coordination meetings.    Report updates to customers and other designated team members.  Functions as the front line contact and advocate with clients, co-workers, FAR stakeholders, Executive Management as it relates to FARs Administration.  Assists with planning and departmental metric development and analysis.

 

FAR Administrator  

Maintains and performs duties as administrator of the (Facility Asset Request) FAR application.  This includes but is not limited to the input of new requests, updates, producing FAR reports, executive presentations, FAR approval duties, coordination of FAR related meetings and other processing responsibilities.

 

Space Committee Meeting Coordination  

Coordinate and attend Facilities Space Committee meetings and related FAR coordination meetings.Supports Manager and Director with initiatives and the administration of departmental metric analysis reports, departmental news and updates, FAR Triage duties, and FAR documentation compliance.

 

Customer Service   

Functions as the front line contact and advocate with customers, co-workers, FAR stakeholders, Executive Management as it relates to FAR Administration. Advocacy responsibility requires discretion, judgment, decision making and interpersonal relationship skills.

 

Training   

Responsible for providing instruction. Responsible for providing instruction to staff, customers, co-workers, FAR stakeholders and Executive Management on the FAR submittal process and operational usage of the FAR application.

 

Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration or related field. Ten years of related experience in a large institution or hospital. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
