Director, Sourcing & Contract Management
The Director, Sourcing & Contract Management is responsible for planning, leading and directing all strategic and operational aspects of Sourcing and Contract Management for MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC).
- Have responsibility for strategic sourcing; contract negotiations, management and administration; and vendor performance measurement and relationship management.
- Collaborate with other supply chain operational areas to design and implement solutions to supply chain issues and systems.
- Will serve as an advisor to leadership and the broad customer base of MDACC.
- Must be capable of establishing credibility within the institution as a subject matter expert and a leader in the sourcing and contract management profession.
- Ten years of management experience in strategic sourcing and contract management experience with large, complex organizations in a regulated industry.
- Additional experience with supplier selection strategy and execution, contract negotiation, supplier scorecard, alliance development and responsibility for an historically underutilized business program.
- Prefer healthcare or large academic medical center experience.
- Bachelor’s degree / Certification: Texas Purchasing Manager or Equivalent
